Entre Rates neix l'estiu de 2015, quan un conjunt de músics que havien coincidit en altres grups en el passat decideixen crear una nova formació amb un objectiu clar: fer rock dur en català. El seu estil varia des del hard rock fins al thrash metal, passant pel rock sureny estil ZZTop. Per tal de no centrar-se en un estil de rock únic, ells mateixos creen el terme Rock de Ponent.
